Screen Printing Helper

This position is entry-level and begins with providing press operators with inks and other supplies for the next run. Performs press teardowns and assist in other areas of the department. No experience is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provides printers with job specific supplies as necessary
  • Assists printers with teardowns
  • Reclaims ink from screens and places ink back into original buckets
  • Places dirty screens to the Screen Room
  • Removes tape from screens
  • Cleans all squeegees thoroughly
  • Communicates openly with Production Managers, Printers and Finishers
  • Maintains clean and orderly work stations
  • Other duties as assigned

Inside Sales Representative

This inside sales position is responsible for servicing and retaining current accounts and generating new business. The in-house schedule for this position is between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm. M-F with required light travel OOS.

*This position is paid hourly with UNCAPPED commission opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for the full service sales cycle with our customers
  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders
  • Provides complete and timely follow-up on all potential prospects and leads
  • Conducts appointments and customer interactions in a professional manner which represents AWTS values and brand image
  • Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with customers through 100% customer satisfaction
  • Leads by example on such items as respect for others, teamwork, positive attitude, and work ethic
  • Identifies new products, trends, and shares this information with the other sales reps and managers

The Graphic Designer must be extremely creative and able to generate design ideas by utilizing a variety of resources and with a minimum of direction. A familiarity with screen printing is helpful, but not necessary. The in-house schedule for this position is between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm. M-F.

Responsibilities

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements, then conceptualize visuals based on those requirements
  • Schedule projects with Sales & Production in order to meet deadlines
  • Create images and layouts using Adobe CS6 for print and online media, promotional products, and screen printing

Qualifications, Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects by importance and due date
  • Work as part of a design team to ensure best project outcomes
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and source references, images, fonts, and templates
  • Mastery of Adobe CS6
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Must possess the ability to use spelling and grammatical rules correctly
  • Knowledge of color separations and/or the screen printing process
  • Familiarity with CMYK and RGB color spaces, as well as spot colors

Graphic Artist / Screen Print Production

This Print Production Artist will have both a creative and a technical role in the design and production process of screen printing and promotional items. They will be able to combine illustration with digital media to create complete designs that will be featured on client marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Photoshop and Illustrator on a PC system
  • High level of creative and artistic skills
  • Knowledge of color separations and the screen print process
  • Modify artwork and template designs as needed
  • Collaborate closely with both the graphic design team and the production department
  • Prepare final approved artwork for production

Responsibilities

  • The Machine Operator is responsible for efficient production of quality products, including:
  • Independently sets up machine for specific job
  • Makes adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth operation of machine
  • Produces quality pieces with image properly aligned and with quality imprint
  • Run one sample for approval before processing the entire order
  • Threading the right colors at each needles
  • Properly placing the plastic hoops on the garments
  • Placement follow the embroidery specifications
  • Verify the order number

Engraver

The engraver will be trained to be a member of the team but should already have knowledge of the trade.  The team is responsible for layout, engraving, quality inspecting, re-packaging of customer orders.

Responsibilities

  • Opens and or/stages product to assist in the personalization process
  • Inspects merchandise pre-production to ensure product quality
  • Remains updated on current product assortment and the best way to set up machines for maximum productivity
  • Set up proofs, machines get approvals run jobs
  • Inspects merchandise post production to ensure accuracy of personalization and that all quality standards have been met
  • Confirms integrity of orders by ensuring all pieces are accounted for and appropriately packs orders
  • Adapts to business needs through willingness to cross-train and perform other tasks as needed
